Protecting the Innocent Under British Law In 2006?
A British MP (one of our leaders) has been victim of a criminal. The criminal has been caught and sentenced but knowing how very lenient British Judges & Magistrates are now, he would like to know, as would the rest of us, how much of the given sentence this criminal would serve in prison before being let out to resume his chosen career again. No one can tell him. If an MP can’t find out, who can ?.
Over the past six years the soft policy of tagging and early release of known and convicted criminals as resulted in.
One murder - an attempted murder, four man slaughters, 56 woundings, 500 assault’s and 145 attacks on police officers All committed by criminals who, but for the soft option would still be in jail where they belong.

GOOD NEWS Lord Chief Justice Wolf sometimes called “The Burglars Friend”, is to retire. BAD NEWS He has acquired another job as head of the SENTENCING GUIDELINES COUNCIL. Their new guidelines for courts advise . Cutting all jail sentences by 15%. ( including rape and sexual offences ).
They have also recommended that those convicted of domestic violence should not go to jail at all if they are Willing To Change Their Behaviour. ( what a get out of jail free card) They argue this would be harder on criminals because the rest of the sentence would be under supervision or licence. They They have also recommended Shoplifters (THIEVES) should not be prosecuted.
Thank god we have such caring people as Lord Wolf and the .members of the SENTENCING GUIDELINES COUNCIL. looking after the criminals interests. If it wasn’t for the unstinting hard work of such people our criminals might not be given the respect and support they now expect. They might even finish up being treated as badly as their victims.

In 2006, for man who raped a 12 year old = 2 years.
In 2020 (probably)
For any convicted rapist a Gold Medal, Government Pension and a place on a Sexual Achievement Register.
To avoid confusion, the term “Life Imprisonment” should now be taken to mean

I can’t help feeling that something is missing from the British legal system.
Doesn’t seem to be very much deterrent nowadays.

Pedophile arrested and accused of raping a nine year old child. First month Out on bail , Second month re-arrested, Out on bail again while waiting for trial, third month Out on bail again while being tried. Warned in court that he would be facing stiff sentence and told to come back, when convenient to the court, to receive punishment. SURPRISE, SURPRISE this pervert actually turns out not to be trustworthy and does a runner. Police now have to beg help from members of the public to try to catch this criminal and the child victim still lives in constant fear.

A thug, who had a string of previous convictions, subjected his girl friend to an 18 hour beating with fists, head butting , a knife, a hammer, a vacuum cleaner , a table leg, belt buckles and a phone which left her badly injured and vomiting blood. He also pushed her head into a microwave and tried to turn it on. The girl escaped later and got to hospital with blood trickling from her ear, where the police were called. A police sergeant said “ In my 18 years on the force it’s the worst assault I have seen.
Judge Adrian Lion sentenced him to JAIL FOR LIFE

Maximum sentence now for this offence TWO YEARS The sentence imposed by the same judge: 18 MONTHS
LOGIC : you work it out I can’t: To all of you who worry about the rights of criminals, rest easy. This “Man” ? will only have to serve 8 months and will not be put on that embarrassing Sex Offenders Register. Presumably, later, he can go back to his day job in the classroom.
A Judge who quite rightly describes a Notorious and Very Wealthy, con man as Cunning, Manipulative and above all Arrogant with utter disregard for his victims and also quite rightly sentences him to nine months. THEN ! he reduces his sentence by two thirds because he says he’s sorry for his contempt of court.
Contempt of Court Now that’s a really, really, really, serious offence. I feel certain that this crooks victims will agree it is much more serious than their loss of hard earned money. I think it can be a disease though, because I suffer from it every time I read about another inexplicable judgement
The Sentencing Advisory Panel Established 1998 consisting of academics, lawyers & judges issues Guidelines To the Home Office. Judges must go easy on young offenders who carry out street robberies, do not impose the normal sentence to two years in jail, give community sentences instead. I can only assume this is because if they are banged up they will be deprived of the opportunity to follow their chosen profession. ?
When a person assists in breaking the law before the criminal gets arrested, we call him an Accomplice.

Tim Robinson a notable lawyer along with 21 employees of his firm was practising theft and deception for years by fiddling the Legal Aid system, they screwed the taxpayers out of millions. The whole thing kept quiet for ten years on the orders of a Judge, (a member of the same “ Profession”) ?, I wonder why ?,
It only came to light when reporting restrictions were finally lifted and it is estimated they claimed for millions of pounds of work which was never done. Robinson was jailed in 2001 and released in July this year after serving half of a seven-year jail sentence. (Oh surprise - surprise.)
It is not known exactly how much was stolen from the Legal Aid Board, but estimates suggest it could have been as much £9 million . The investigation, one of the largest of its kind, began in April 1993. At its height, more than 120 police officers worked on the case. It is thought the legal costs alone run to £40m.

Suggestion for Improving The System
As there are now so many totally INCOMPETENT JUDGES who are paid handsomely by the British taxpayers for their so called legal expertise. There are also so many cases of convicted criminals getting off Scot Free because of technical errors by these “experts at law”. Would it not be simpler, and cheaper, to have a standard sentence after being found GUILTY of any serious offence. i.e.
YOU ARE HEREBY FOUND GUILTY AND YOU ARE SENTENCED TO BE TAKEN FROM THIS COURT AND SET FREE, COLLECT YOUR COMPENSATION FROM THE OFFICE ON THE WAY OUT. And let this be a lesson to you.
This would definitely speed up court cases and who knows, it might mean that the lawyers have to go out and get proper jobs, It might even stop the world laughing at our once admired judicial system.
DRIVING TIPS FOR DUMMIES
If you look on the steering wheel of any modern car you will find a little twiddly stick thing. this is called AN INDICATOR SWITCH. If you do know which way your are going to turn you can press this switch and it will let other road users know that you are awake by flashing little amber lights on the outside of your car. Use of this switch does unfortunately require the effort of moving a finger but if you can make the effort you are rewarded with a little green arrow light and some clicking music.
On some cars there are lights on the front, low down on the road, They are called FOG LIGHTS. These lights to help you see your way in fog. they are also useful for Dazzling oncoming drivers if used when there is no fog, especially in wet weather, they can also be used as a fashion accessory by poser prats. Using these lights in this manner is illegal but police ignore this lawbreaking assuming that the offending drivers are brain dead and can’t be charged.
Driving actually in FOG: You should be aware that on the rare occasions when it is foggy, FOG LIGHTS are designed to be a replacement for your headlights which cause that greyish white haze that stops you seeing the road in front of your vehicle, Of course driving under foggy conditions using both will still let you be a poser prat but it will also give away your secret that you are stupid as well. Driving with undimmed headlights and Fog lights will really put you top of the thickoes list.
Disposal of your trash while driving : It is advisable to open the window first otherwise the car soon gets full up with crap and you may forget you are driving and think you are at home. When you come to throw your rubbish from your car it is better to let your passenger throw it from their window, in this way you have a much better chance of hitting a pedestrian or cyclist which is much more fun. Just dropping it from the drivers window means it just gets squashed and messy and although you may feel it’s more your style, there is the risk that the following driver may be a typical old spoil sport who may take your number and report you.
Becoming a Hire Car Driver : Remember it is the differences that set you apart from other drivers. i.e. forget any old fashioned things like Courtesy & Thoughtfulness. When picking up a passenger from home never get out to knock at the door, a blast on the horn is sufficient to show you have deemed to turn up and is much better at upsetting neighbours who may be on shift work or having a lay in. If at night and some have retired you are not supposed to honk but you can rev up, or turn your radio up loud, if you have to be up! make certain everyone else is.
Golden rules if you operate at night in the Irlam Cadishead Area. Plenty of in-road U-turns to confuse following drivers. Always drive close up with your lights on the rear view mirror of the car in front to try and make it go faster, learning how to overtake safely is not half as much fun. Always park at night facing the wrong way with your headlights on, this means oncoming drivers can’t see if your passengers are alighting and if there is an accident you may be able to claim for trauma and loss of earnings. Never have more than one good headlamp bulb, it is much more economical to use only one and you won’t have to learn how to fit a replacement.
A Shining Example of Modern British Justice.
An English woman married to a foreign husband, she has two kids, one born here and one born abroad. The family complied with emigration laws so the husband could reside here.
The Crime : The husband used the wrong form to apply for residency
The Penalty : Family to be split and father an one child to be deported. Eighteen month old child to be sent threatening letter to ensure no further transgression
I assume that it is the man’s own fault for the following reasons:
1. He comes from a country who has always staunchly supported Britain and sent people to die for our causes. i.e. New Zealand.
2. He hasn’t claimed Asylum.
3. He didn’t arrive in the back of a lorry.
4. He his not a member of a criminal gang.
5. He is not an itinerant.
6. He is not a benefit cheat.
7. He believes in Marriage.
8. He probably doesn’t vote Labour
In view of all these things that now prejudice your case if you go up against against the interpretation of our judicial and political systems. Is it any wonder the family is to be punished, if we let this sort of thing go on we will risk the possibility that we will revert back to that old fashioned British system of Justice, Common Sense, Compassion & Fair Play.
Let’s give three chairs for the upholders of British Justice.!!!

Tell your MP you are in favour of more taxes so guilty criminals can hired the correct type of expensive lawyers and that you support the practice of letting terrorist organisers have unlimited legal aid and benefit’s. As Tony says what the country needs is RESPECT

A Confession I am told that I am prejudiced against poor overpaid stressed out football managers and players who constantly get away with breaking the laws we common people have to adhere to. I PLEAD GUILTY. I would like to point out however, that it’s our legal the system that stinks. One can’t really blame people with no sense of personal responsibility from taking advantage of such an easily manipulated system.
Oldham Athletic player with nine points already on his licence for previous convictions, let off driving ban because HE MIGHT LOSE HIS JOB IF HE LOST HIS LICENCE. I’m sure all you who have been convicted of speeding offences will agree that this case is different and you do need your BMW to play football.
Latest I read : It now appears that you don’t have to be a footballer or a manager looking for a toilet to aquire the, very well justified , leniency by judges and magistrates to not add to their stress levels ( remember they are not like the rest of us stress free lives) . The scheme to let these people walk away unpunished after committing criminal road offences seems to be successful and it has now been extended to include Footballers Wives as well. They no longer need to worry if they are caught speeding at over a 100 mph for their hair appointments or shopping therapy sessions. A Get Out Of Jail Card is available whenever they can ensure some friendly official make an error on the paper work.
